Joshua’s 8th Birthday!

 

Happy 8th Birthday, to my baby boy!

It feels like overnight you’ve grown into a strong, brave, fast-as-lightning, thoughtful, and wise big-boy, Joshua! You give the best hugs, love to tell me every detail of your Lego creations, and always ask to go back outside to play after dinner. You’d live in the great outdoors if you could! You are happiest with dirt on your face, scraped-up knees that come with adventure stories, feet in the ocean, and surrounded by your neighborhood buddies.

You love egg sandwiches, strawberry yogurt, and sausage pizza. You like playing football, climbing trees, and fishing with daddy! You still snuggle with me every night for storytime (you currently like the “I Survived” series) and you really enjoy math & science. You do an excellent job of memorizing God’s Word and you have the Old Testament books almost down in order. You love church, worship, and jamming to “Journey” in your room with your big brother.

I thank God for you every day and am so blessed to be your mommy. Happy 8th Birthday, Joshua!💙

You requested a LEGO/Sports birthday party with your best buddies! It was quite the day of fun, building, flag football, grilled burgers, cupcakes, and Nerf wars. You love our neighborhood and I'm grateful the Lord has given you so many wonderful friends. Every day is a celebration because you're in it, Joshua! Happy Birthday!
