Celebrating Cora’s 3rd Birthday!

Happy 3rd birthday, to our littlest princess!

You wake up each morning ready to embrace every moment! I learn so much by watching you grow, Cora Elizabeth. Your bright blue eyes overflow with joy and your smile bursts with questions! You love dresses (twirling) and at this point don’t want anything to do with pants. Good thing we are stationed in a warm climate! You love music (following the lead of your older siblings), you worship with everything you’ve got, and you sing all through the day. Our house is a musical! You adore puppies, princesses (Merida, from “Brave”, is your favorite), and family nights “when we are all together.” You love to talk about Jesus and are a great listener when we are reading the Bible. And your squeals of delight over the tiniest things remind me to be thankful for the smallest moments during the day.

Your siblings are your best friends (daddy & me, too!), you are incredibly social (talking to everyone you meet), you love to be outside, painting, and playing with make-up (especially lipgloss). Your favorite foods right now are strawberries, mini-oranges, yogurt, popsicles, tomatoes, salami, and pizza. And chocolate. You are also very strong-willed, but have a soft, tender, teachable heart. You are learning boundaries and obedience, but you are also a wonderful helper!

You are a treasure, Cora Elizabeth, and I’m so honored to be your mommy. Happy 3rd birthday, baby girl!

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. ~ Romans 15:13

Your birthday morning request was to go play at the park with "our whole family."

Big brother gave you a special manicure & pedicure with your new nails polish!

We also got to have a special birthday celebration with Papa, Nana, & Great- Grammy Ethel!

Every good and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. ~ James 1:17
