Happy 2nd Birthday, Cora!

We had the best day celebrating our baby girl's 2nd birthday, on her actual birthday, with neighborhood friends: cupcakes, balloons, and lemonade on our lanai! Then after our Minnie-Mouse-Princess awoke from her afternoon nap, we celebrated again with daddy! A week later, we celebrated with Papa, Nana, and great-grammy Ethel, with a grilled out, gifts, the cutest cake Nana brought, and ended the evening on our lanai again with a Florida style pumpkin craft that Nana planned. Celebrating our girl couldn't have been sweeter!

Happy 2nd Birthday, to our littlest princess!

Cora, you could not be loved or cherished any more than you are, baby girl. From the top of your head to the bottom of your toes; daddy, me, and your siblings adore you and thank the Lord for the gift you are to our family!

You are a curly, blond, blueberry-eyed bundle of sparkly twirls, contagious laughter, and beautiful songs! All day long I watch you embark on grand adventures; playing make believe with your baby dolls, baking in your play kitchen, digging in the dirt in our yard, chasing our dog around the house, or drawing artwork on the walls (Ahem.) Currently, Minnie Mouse and Peppa Pig are two of your dearest friends. You like to play Savannah's piano, dance to Alisa strumming her guitar, and hide under stuffed animal piles with your brothers. I love the unique, special relationship you have with each of your siblings (they are so good to you!) and you get so excited when they arrive home from all their activities.

You surprise us with your extensive vocabulary; clearly singing the alphabet, counting to 12, and belting our lyrics in tune to dozens of songs. You have no fear; running toward ocean waves and jumping into swimming pools (you keep mommy busy). You are outgoing, have clear opinions on things (smile), and love to make friends! Your favorite foods are strawberries and popsicles. you also like chocolate. Have I mentioned how "girly" you are? You give daddy dozens of kisses a day, tell us you missed us when we get home from a date (be still my heart), and you love to pray for anyone with an "ouchie." I can see your love and faith in Jesus already starting to grow as you listen to me read Bible stories and teach you about our Creator. It's an honor to be your mommy and I love you with all my heart, Cora Elizabeth!
