LegoLand Germany

We spent a lovely day at LEGOLAND Deutschland! It was actually a belated birthday gift for Joshua. The park is geared toward 2-12-year-olds, which was perfect for our 5-year-old birthday boy. He was able to go on almost all the rides, the park was clean and organized, manageable in one day. The weather was perfect (thank you Lord for summer in Germany!) and the food was seriously delicious. I had an Asian Chicken Salad for lunch, packed full of radiant greens and sweet melon. I'm going to try to re-create it at home.

A highlight was watching Joshua race another boy at the Hyundai attraction. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and Joshua already has driving skills like his daddy. Oh, my. Competitive to say the least.

I forgot Cora's hat at home and when the sun started to warm up I found the most adorable blue and white polka dot bonnet in one of the Legoland shops. What a cutie with her blueberry eyes shining under it's brim. She was crazy about the musical water fountain and hardly slept the whole day, not wanting to miss a beat!
