Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
We didn't have snow for Christmas (sigh), but we have had some this month! And my cuties continue to pray for more.
It may be cold, but something about snow falling makes the house feel cozier and winter days feel sweeter. The chilly white puffs silently drifting out of the sky are like candy kisses from our loving Heavenly Father, who promises to wash us white as the snow.
"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."
~ Isaiah 1:18
I've savored the nights the snow has fallen against the backdrop of our glowing fireplace. Magic. Peace. I love the frosty morning paintings and flakes on our windows, too. The kids have been sledding, having snowball fights, and making mini-snowmen in our backyard. Baby Cora likes to eat it (so we bring it inside for her, of course) and one of her favorite words is "snow." Let it snow!
