July - the sweetest summer moments!

I feel like my to-do list is longer than usual because I've been under the weather (and it's November - hello holiday season!) and with a recent move, I have so much left to do to settle in. But journaling refreshes me and I need to catch up with this online space. So, here we go with more of July, which was packed full of adventures, travel, camp, and summer fun!

We spent The 4th of July holiday in Cocoa Beach with the Bartlett family! Hours in the pool, at the beach (Mrs. Angela taught Joshua how to boogie board), and we celebrated Scott's birthday at a restaurant on the water, where they prepared fish our guys caught that morning on a deep-sea charter boat. Talk about fresh!

The only different part of the 4th of July was that Savannah, was in Minnesota, with friends and Alisa, was in South Carolina, with friends. We missed them a lot, but the joy of knowing they are having "the best summer adventures" made it all ok with my mommy heart. It is also special to have time with just our younger cuties. My heart is expanding and being stretched in new ways, which is hard and wonderful all at the same time.

Days of bubbles!

Hosting bonfires and having the best summer night fun with our youth United family!

Mornings along Tampa Bay...

Enjoying an abundant amount of fresh summer salads and strawberry cake with friends!

Putting last year's homeschool books away and beginning to pray about fall 2021!

Cora loved getting to celebrate her friend Libby's birthday! These two - the cutest!

The boys spent a lot of time with buddies outside. Bonfires, forts, and Nerf Gun wars!

Getting to watch her lead worship at church - priceless.

Cora ended up in the emergency room for a terrible tummy bug that lasted way too long. Thankfully it was nothing serious and we had wonderful doctors and nurses. So thankful for a healthy little girl!

On the hottest days, we paint our hands!

And then there was CLASH CAMP! Savannah was a counselor and worship leader for middle school camp, Levi attended and had the BEST cabin of guys! Then was Alisa and Savannah's turn for high school camp. A huge thank-you to our church, staff, and volunteers for working so hard to bless so many young people (and their families)... I loved Bible camp as a teen and whenever our kids get to go I see so much fruit in what they learn and how they grow deeper in their walk with Christ. World-changers for the Kingdom!
