The past two months we've been blessed to enjoy the great outdoors with our dear friends and fellow-homeschool-field-trip adventurers, the Hamrick family! A corn maze, the Stuttgart Zoo, our favorite ropes course, and an apple orchard that produced delicious homemade applesauce, apple-butter, and apple-cake! Fall is such a gift here in Germany, and we are soaking up the colorful leaves and cooler, crisp, fresh air!
I had apple butter for the first time during my last trip to the USA a month ago. So delicious! I think I am glad we don't seem to have it here in Australia... too hard to resist having it often! :)
